Simon devloped a passion for chamber music whilst studying at music college and now has a career of over 25 years of performing with various ensembles including being a founder member of the Almira String Quartet. He is now the Leader of The Masquerade String Quartet. Covering a large area of the UK the quartet offers clients the freedom to select a tailor made package of musical favourites; the classical appeal of Mozart mixing with the jazzier moods of Gershwin alongside favourites from Broadway and Hollywood. The quartet has recorded two CDs - "Everything's Coming up Roses" and "In a Sentimental Mood" - bringing fresh, new quartet arrangements to some of the most well loved love songs, jazz and big band classics.
